Cloud9 Quilt

I finally made a quilt using this Cloud9 Quilt-in-a-Day Tutorial.  I actually finished the quilt back in February but am just now posting a picture.  This is a very belated baby blanket for my son's bed (he is now three years old).  He doesn't even like to sleep with it because it's not as soft as his fleece blanket.  Go figure.  Anyway, I think it turned out great.

I appliqued stars on the plain blue quilt blocks.  It's hard to tell, but the other fabrics have either a star or polka dot print.  His room is a red/white/blue/nautical theme, so it coordinates pretty well.  Even though he doesn't use it on his bed, it looks pretty good hanging on the back of the rocking chair.  Thanks for looking!
