365 Cards Day 149

For 365 Cards Day 149 - Try a Technique: Sponging, the challenge is to make a card using sponging. Unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card for work, so I made this:


I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss some silver cardstock then used a sponge to ink it with black and white ink (I don't think the white ink really did much, though). I also inked the edges of the black cardstock with some silver ink. I've always done my inking with a cotton ball, and a sponge works much, much better. It give smooth, more even coverage and no little pieces of cotton stuck all over my card! Thanks for looking!
