The current Caardvarks challenge is to make a tag inspired by a month of the year. I made a patriotic tag for the month of July. I stitched red and navy blue "stripes" on white and navy blue cardstock. "Celebrate" is stamped repeatedly on the white spaces between the stripes. A crimped navy blue cardstock star is tied to the tag with a red and white ribbon. I have a patriotic-themed wedding to attend this summer, so this tag will be the perfect finishing touch on the present.
well first off, it's a LOVELY tag all-round! but also can i say "WOW" that you stamped alllllll of those "celebrates" so very very neatly and evenly...i was looking at the blurb to see WHAT PATTERNED PAPER that was!!! tooooo coooooooool! :)
ReplyDeletehello again! thank you SO MUCH for letting me know that your tag did not show up in the gallery. it turns out NEITHER of the ones i uploaded yesterday morning did! and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY! so i apologize about that, but they *ARE* in there now, and they definitely count for the challenge!
